Google disavow links tool is launched. Remove spam backlinks from your site

Yesterday Matt Cutts officially announced the launch of the google disavow links tool. Bing had disavow link tools even before google announced its launch. Matt Cutts conveyed more about the disavow links tools by posting a video on you tube. And it is officially announced on webmaster blog.
After the release of the penguin update many sites are effected by the spam links. The sites with spam back links are continuously hit by the penguin updates. So the disavow tools will help in removing the spam back links from the sites.

Why To Use Google Disavow Links Tool

The tool can be used for removing spam back links from the sites. The spam backlinks comes through comments,guest posts,blog spams etc. The sites with spam backlinks are generally hit by the google penguin update.So removing the spam backlinks is necessary for every site owners and bloggers.

Some of the site owners buy links to get high page rank. But google considers these types of activities and backlinks as spam and simultaneously the page rank will be reduced. So if you have already bought paid links or any such things like link exchanging you can remove these links from your site through Google disavow links tool.

How To Use The Google Disavow Links Tool?

According to Matt Cutt the Google disavow links tool need not be used by every one. Use the tool only if you feel your site has spam backlinks, or if your site is hit by the google penguin update..

Use any backlinks checker tool to get your backlinks list. If not, you can download it from the webmaster tools. List the domains one after the other in the text file,that is one domain per line. The full address need not be specified like www.example.com/page.html.  Write only domain :example.com. After creating the list, go to Google disavow links tool and select your domain and click on the disavow links. Next, click again on the disavow links for uploading your text file which is your domain list and submit the list.

Google will remove your spam links within 1 or 2 weeks. And Google will re-index and re crewel the listed pages. below is the video uploaded by Matt Cutts on YouTube  Watch the video to know more.
